Braze Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable Braze Specialist to aid in transitioning a client from Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to Braze. This role involves strategic and technical consulting, ideal for someone with prior successful experience in similar migrations capable of managing the project phases from initial planning to final validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and confirm the proposed migration strategy, scope, resource allocation, and effort estimates between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Braze.
• Create a detailed migration plan including data transfer, audience segmentation, campaign logic, workflows, system configurations, integrations, and testing schedules.
• Provide continuous expert guidance to the client's technical team throughout the migration process.
• Translate and migrate existing SFMC journeys, automations, segmentation schemas, and messaging strategies to Braze.
• Recognize potential technical dependencies, risks, data inconsistencies, and gaps early to prevent delivery issues.
• Conduct thorough reviews of migrated data, configurations, campaigns, and workflows to ensure their accuracy and readiness.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in deploying and managing Braze for customer engagement or lifecycle marketing campaigns.
• Documented experience in performing migration projects from Salesforce Marketing Cloud to Braze.
• Comprehensive understanding of SFMC journeys, automations, segmentation tactics, data models, and campaign workflows.
• Deep knowledge of Braze's system architecture, data schemas, audience management, campaign orchestration, and integration approaches.
• Capacity to independently lead the migration efforts and effectively coordinate with technical teams and client stakeholders.
• Preferably possess Braze certifications, which will be a vital factor in selection.
• Ability to work within Central Time business hours.
