Position Overview

The Brand Ambassador role focuses on delivering outstanding brand education, advocating for TWE’s portfolio, and engaging markets across Emerging Markets including Asia (excluding Greater China), the Middle East, and Africa. The position involves collaboration with commercial and marketing teams to meet business goals, enhance brand visibility, and foster customer engagement through educational programs, training sessions, event management, and stakeholder relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement engaging and commercially relevant education programs that highlight TWE’s premium and luxury brand portfolio across Emerging Markets.
  • Enhance product knowledge, confidence, and brand support among internal teams, distributors, customers, trade partners, and consumers.
  • Conduct brand training, masterclasses, and educational events across diverse channels and audiences. Localize and adjust training materials to maintain consistent brand messaging and standards.
  • Serve as a regional representative for TWE’s Power Brands (Penfolds, DAOU, Matua) and Regional Heroes (Frank Family Vineyards, Beaulieu Vineyard, Stags' Leap Winery, Pepperjack, Squealing Pig, Wynns, Coldstream Hills).
  • Promote understanding of brand heritage, winemaking processes, portfolio structure, and vital brand narratives among various stakeholders.
  • Lead trade trainings, masterclasses, wine dinners, tastings, media interactions, and consumer events.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with distributors, customers, sommeliers, media, and key industry influencers.
  • Assist sales and marketing teams in organizing market activations and events.
  • Engage the global Chinese community, including collectors and high net worth individuals, promoting TWE’s luxury wines across Emerging Markets.
  • Develop and maintain brand educational materials and training presentations, supporting localization and translation efforts as needed.
  • Innovate to improve learning outcomes and enhance capability development within markets.
  • Act as the key regional contact for all brand and product inquiries related to Power Brands and Regional Heroes.
  • Liaise with winemakers, the Global Brand Ambassador team, and brand teams for updates and support during winemaker visits and regional events.

Candidate Profile

  • Must possess WSET Level 3, Certified Sommelier certification, or an equivalent wine qualification.
  • Holds a degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Communication, Education, or a similar field, or has equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience working within the premium wine industry is required.
  • Excellent public speaking, presentation, communication, and facilitation abilities, fluent in both English and Mandarin.
  • Proven track record in conducting education, training, and brand engagement initiatives effectively in English and Mandarin.
  • Strong skills in building and maintaining relationships with customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of managing several priorities simultaneously.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a necessary requirement.
  • Background in Learning & Development or training program development is advantageous.
