About the Role
Are you considering a return to work after a break? Your unique experience might be exactly what makes a difference in supporting young people. At Elevate Beyond, we value mentors who combine practical life experience with professional skills.
This position focuses on assisting young people aged 11 to 19 in specialist Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) schools, Alternative Provision academies, Pupil Referral Units, and community SEMH environments across Greater Manchester. Your role will be to help these youths regain confidence, engage in their education, and acquire essential skills for future progress.
Work Flexibility
Recognizing individual circumstances, we provide a range of employment formats including full-time, part-time, flexible supply roles, short-term assignments, long-term placements, and opportunities that may lead to permanent positions.
Compensation
The role offers an hourly rate between £14 and £16, or £105 to £120 per day.
Candidate Requirements
- At least one year’s experience supporting young people with SEMH, behavioural, or complex needs.
- Backgrounds in education, youth work, or community services are welcomed.
- Applicants must possess an enhanced DBS check, safeguarding clearance, references, and the right to work in the UK.
