Job Overview
Seeking energetic individuals for full-time Barista roles within a fast-paced, social environment at Aramark Canada in King City, Ontario. This position offers substantial opportunities for personal growth and career advancement while delivering excellent customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate POS systems and manage cash and credit transactions with accuracy.
- Warmly welcome customers and anticipate their needs.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffees, teas, and specialty beverages following brand standards.
- Handle food preparation and serving adhering to location guidelines.
- Count and balance cash drawers, complete cashier slips, and assist with deposits in accordance with company policies.
- Set up and dismantle coffee bar and workstations, ensuring sanitation and cleanliness.
- Maintain inventory of beverages, grab-and-go items, service ware, and condiments.
- Comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience is advantageous.
- Barista experience is a plus.
- Basic numeracy and counting skills needed.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must adhere to designated dress code.
- Proficient in English reading and communication; able to follow recipes.
- Food Handling Certification required as applicable.
Physical and Safety Conditions
This role may involve physical effort such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing, and extended walking. Use of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) may be mandatory.
