Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled B1 Instructor for a fixed-term role at Airbus Helicopters Arabia, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical maintenance experience, instructional capabilities, and a strong background in aviation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum requirement of a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or completion of an accredited aviation training program spanning at least 2 years.
- Possession of EASA Part 66 or FAA license is favored.
- At least 5 years of documented maintenance experience on H145 helicopters, whether in military or civilian settings.
- Minimum of 3 years serving as a technical instructor.
- Type rating certification specific to the H145 helicopter issued by an OEM-approved entity.
- Proven ability in developing and delivering on-the-job training curricula geared towards entry-level and advanced maintenance technicians.
- Experience creating training materials such as charts, graphs, handouts, transparencies, and slides to enhance technical education.
- Direct supervisory experience overseeing trainees during maintenance evaluations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite for accurate record-keeping consistent with PSS/GSAC policies.
- Preferred experience includes at least 3 years in technical writing roles and Level-7 qualification in logistics, maintenance, or training specialties.
- Instructor certification from a recognized institution is mandatory.
- Non-native English speakers must demonstrate proficiency with a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent; English skills may also be assessed during interview.
- Working knowledge of office automation tools, especially MS Office.
Mandatory Conditions
- All stated qualifications and experiences must be verified through official documentation.
- Successful completion of the PSS/GSAC interview in person or online.
- Clearance of security checks mandated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia authorities.
