Position Overview
The Automotive Procurement Specialist role is a full-time position based onsite in the United Arab Emirates. The specialist will assess used vehicles through inspections and market analysis to establish equitable purchase prices in line with company policies. Responsibilities include negotiating with vehicle sellers, completing purchase agreements, and maintaining a transparent and seamless buying experience. Daily activities involve managing incoming valuation requests, arranging inspection appointments, preparing required documentation, collaborating with operations and finance for payment processing, and overseeing legal formalities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate and inspect used cars to determine market-aligned purchase prices.
- Negotiate purchase terms and finalize agreements with sellers.
- Respond to online valuation inquiries and schedule appointments.
- Prepare accurate procurement and transaction documentation.
- Coordinate with operations and finance teams for prompt payments and legal compliance.
- Maintain detailed procurement records and monitor vehicle inventory needs.
- Support continual enhancement of purchasing protocols and service quality.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in vehicle inspection, automotive valuation, and current used car market trends.
- Strong negotiation abilities and relationship management with sellers and suppliers.
- Familiarity with documentation procedures, contract basics, and regulatory compliance within the automotive field.
- Proficiency with computer tools for data input, inventory systems, online valuation platforms, or CRM software.
- Experience in automotive procurement, dealership operations, or car trading in UAE or similar markets.
- Excellent analytical skills, numeracy, and meticulous attention to detail for pricing decisions.
- Effective interpersonal communication and customer-oriented approach in a dynamic onsite work setting.
- Preferably holds vocational or academic credentials in automotive technology, business, or related disciplines, along with a valid driving license.
