Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Associate for Retail Support Operations (RSO) to join our client’s team at Jeddah Airport. This position suits candidates experienced in retail operations, inventory monitoring, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising. The role is crucial for maintaining product availability, ensuring inventory precision, managing replenishment tasks, and sustaining high standards in visual merchandising across retail outlets.
Primary Responsibilities
- Implement visual merchandising directives and planograms effectively.
- Set up and sustain displays for promotions, seasons, and new product launches.
- Ensure pricing, ticketing, and signage are accurate and current.
- Carry out daily store floor inspections to uphold display quality standards.
- Manage daily replenishment from storage to sales floor.
- Maintain stock levels within agreed minimum and maximum thresholds.
- Track performance of fast- and slow-moving merchandise.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for stock transfers and urgent replenishment needs.
- Perform regular stock counts—daily, weekly, and cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variations in stock.
- Assist in inventory audits and reconciliation processes.
- Keep accurate inventory records in POS and other inventory software.
- Comply with company operational, safety, and security policies.
- Adhere to retail and regulatory guidelines specific to airport environments.
- Generate reports on stock levels and inventory status.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at controlling inventory shrinkage and enhancing accuracy.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum educational qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Between one and two years of relevant experience in retail operations, merchandising, stock control, or inventory management.
- Experience in duty-free, airport retail, supermarkets, hypermarkets, or other high-volume retail settings is advantageous.
- Proficiency in inventory management, stock control, replenishment planning, and visual merchandising.
- Skilled in planogram implementation, inventory audits, cycle counting, POS systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and effective time management.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic language skills are preferable.
