Associate Data Scientist - Saudi Aramco SMP

Position Overview

We are looking for an Associate Data Scientist with over 5 years of professional experience specializing in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud-enabled data science solutions to join our team at Saudi Aramco based in Dhahran, Eastern Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI and ML models, leveraging large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and employing modern MLOps strategies within an enterprise cloud environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• More than 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in Python programming and SQL query language.
• Experience with container orchestration and management tools such as Kubernetes and Docker, as well as cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or OpenShift.
• Demonstrated expertise in machine learning, large language models, generative AI technologies, and operationalizing ML models (MLOps and LLMOps).
• Familiarity working with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools like Git, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
• Knowledge of AI frameworks and hardware acceleration including Hugging Face libraries, NVIDIA GPUs, Neural Inference Machines (NIMs), and distributed AI systems is highly desirable.
• Strong communication capabilities, teamwork, and project management skills are essential.
