Assistant Store Manager

Role overview

Pandora is hiring an organised, proactive and results-focused Assistant Store Manager to help run a busy retail location in Dublin. The position is centered on leading from the shop floor, supporting retail operations, motivating a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences while contributing to store sales and performance.

This is a permanent full-time role for 39 hours per week, with work required across Mondays through Sundays. The pay range for the full-time equivalent role is €38,000 to €43,200 per year.

What the role involves

As Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager with commercial performance, team leadership, customer experience and day-to-day store operations. You will also take responsibility for the store’s smooth trading when the Store Manager is unavailable.

Commercial responsibilities

• Review sales results, key performance indicators and customer feedback to guide commercial decisions
• Help shape and deliver business plans that support sales targets
• Maintain strong visual merchandising and product presentation aligned with brand standards

Leadership responsibilities

• Help recruit, guide and develop a diverse, inclusive and engaged team
• Provide regular feedback and development conversations to support team growth
• Lead by example and reinforce the brand values across the store team

Customer experience responsibilities

• Act as a brand representative on the shop floor with strong product knowledge and storytelling ability
• Inspire the team to deliver personalised, memorable service
• Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and with care

Store operations responsibilities

• Support rota planning, stock control, till procedures and daily operational activity
• Help manage security, health and safety, and compliance requirements
• Plan staffing levels based on trading needs and seasonal patterns
• Maintain high standards across the shop floor and stockroom

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate is a confident leader who works well in a fast-paced retail environment and brings strong people skills, commercial awareness and positive energy. Experience with a leading brand or desirable consumer products is preferred. This could suit a senior supervisor or an assistant manager looking for a new challenge.

This is a permanent role. The working pattern covers all days of the week, and the position is based in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.
