Role Overview

The Assistant Manager ICT is responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, and upkeep of ICT systems at PKLI&RC. Duties include managing daily ICT operations such as monitoring network and server performance, overseeing hardware and software installations, and ensuring robust data security and backup practices. This role requires collaboration with clinical and administrative teams to resolve issues swiftly, optimize hospital information system workflows, provide end-user support, and conduct trainings. Additionally, the assistant manager contributes to ICT project activities, maintains detailed documentation, and supports compliance with relevant standards and institutional policies. This is a full-time position based onsite in Gulgasht Colony.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in managing ICT infrastructure including networks administration, servers, and system monitoring.
  • Experience with hardware and software setup, configuration, and troubleshooting within enterprise or healthcare settings.
  • Knowledge of information security principles, data protection, and backup/recovery procedures adhering to ICT policies.
  • Capability in delivering user assistance, preparing technical documentation, and training non-technical staff effectively.
  • Skills in project coordination, task prioritization, and interdepartmental collaboration for ICT initiatives.
  • Preferred academic background includes bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related disciplines; certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or ITIL are advantageous.
  • Prior exposure to hospital or healthcare ICT systems, familiarity with health information systems, and experience managing high-availability, mission-critical environments.
