Role and Responsibilities
- Implement and uphold Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and guidelines throughout all company facilities.
- Develop EHS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), train relevant personnel, and drive continuous improvements in EHS performance.
- Identify hazards and implement measures to minimize risks.
- Carry out regular safety assessments and audits to detect hazards; ensure effective risk controls are applied.
- Provide counseling to employees regarding unsafe behaviors and practices.
- Collaborate with Heads of Departments to enforce Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) in response to safety observations.
- Oversee emergency preparedness, including maintenance of firefighting and emergency equipment.
- Ensure the Emergency Response Team is properly trained to handle incidents.
- Conduct routine mock drills and fire safety training sessions.
- Regularly test fire detection and alarm systems to confirm operational readiness.
