Assistant BIM Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant BIM Manager to join our BIM team, primarily responsible for the comprehensive development and delivery of the Building Information Model. This role involves ensuring compliance with BIM execution plans and managing file protocols effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely as part of the BIM team to develop and deliver the Building Information Model.
• Oversee adherence to BIM execution plans and coordinate file management processes for the BIM model.
• Liaise and cooperate with project teams for seamless BIM operations.
• Supervise and assess third-party BIM submissions and their performance standards.
• Create geometric and data content across multiple disciplines including architectural, structural, MEP, underground systems, prefabrication, earthwork simulation, mock-ups, and showrooms, integrating construction process and resource information as well as phasing aligned with the project master schedule.
• Conduct quality coordination checks with various stakeholders including developers, site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring accuracy in digital models and internal workflows.
• Extract quantities and object data for schedules to assist with estimations and cost planning.
• Prepare, update, and ensure project tasks meet assigned timelines.
• Develop and monitor a practical Project Look-Ahead Timeline and ensure team compliance.
• Promptly complete any ad hoc deliverables as assigned.

Requirements

• A degree in Engineering with a focus on Architecture or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
• At least five years of relevant work experience, preferably within the construction sector.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit Architecture and structural workflows.
• Strong capabilities with Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Navisworks software.
• Knowledgeable about local regulatory and authority requirements.
• Expertise in architectural and structural works is essential.
