Role Overview
We are seeking an Asset Management Analyst with 3 to 5 years of experience based in Bangalore to support our IT asset management function. This role involves overseeing hardware assets, coordinating IT asset procurement, and managing the lifecycle of assets throughout their usage span.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee hardware asset management processes to ensure optimal utilization and tracking.
- Coordinate IT asset procurement activities, including vendor communications and purchase support.
- Perform asset forecasting and lifecycle planning to align with organizational needs.
- Manage asset disposal processes adhering to e-waste compliance and sustainability protocols.
- Support setup of new workspaces and collaborate on infrastructure coordination.
- Conduct asset reconciliation exercises and regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintain comprehensive asset inventory records and reporting documentation.
- Implement process improvements to enhance asset management efficiency and compliance.
- Monitor asset tracking systems and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Facilitate IT infrastructure asset allocation and recovery operations.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in hardware asset management within IT environments.
- Expertise in procurement support and vendor coordination.
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle planning, forecasting, and disposal techniques.
- Experience managing e-waste following regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to conduct audits and reconciliation for asset inventory accuracy.
- Proficient in asset tracking and compliance management systems.
- Skilled in preparing reports and documentation related to asset management.
