Area Manager (Specialty Coffee)

Job Overview

This role is for an accomplished Area Manager with a background in specialty coffee to oversee operations for a set of coffee shops in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position is full time and sits within the food and beverage industry. The successful candidate will be a strong commercial leader who can maintain brand standards, improve performance, and help grow a premium coffee business across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the daily running of several coffee outlets while making sure company procedures and service standards are followed.
• Coach, support, and develop Store Managers to build a high-performing team focused on teamwork and excellent customer care.
• Improve sales and profitability by reviewing financial results, controlling budgets, and putting in place practical cost and revenue strategies.
• Maintain consistent standards for coffee quality, beverage preparation, and product presentation across all branches.
• Protect a strong customer experience by handling feedback and looking for ways to improve service.
• Oversee stock control, supply chain coordination, and supplier relationships to keep products available and reduce waste.
• Make sure every store follows local rules for health, safety, and food hygiene.
• Carry out regular visits to stores to evaluate performance, share feedback, and assist the teams on site.

Requirements

• Previous success in a multi-location management position, such as Area Manager or Cluster Manager, ideally in specialty coffee or premium hospitality.
• Strong enthusiasm for specialty coffee and solid knowledge of brewing techniques, coffee origins, and quality expectations.
• Well-developed leadership and team management abilities with the capacity to motivate others.
• Good commercial judgement with hands-on experience managing P&L, budgets, and key performance indicators.
• Excellent planning, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time well in a busy, fast-moving setting.
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel frequently within Riyadh.
• Fluent English is required, and Arabic knowledge is considered a strong advantage.

Additional Information
