Role Overview

The position is a full-time, on-site role situated in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, for an Architectural Design Technologist. The individual will support architectural initiatives by advancing design development, preparing technical documentation, and creating detailed drawings. The role requires collaboration with architects and engineers, engaging in prototyping phases, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. Responsibilities also include assisting with presentation materials and maintaining ongoing communication with project teams.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000.

Qualifications

• Expertise in software such as REVIT, BIM, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
• Meticulous attention to detail in generating technical drawings.
• Strong interpersonal and coordination skills for collaborating with sub-consultants.
• Educational credentials in Architectural Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of building sciences, sustainable construction, and best practices is beneficial.
• Experience with First Nations architecture is considered a plus.
