Role Overview

Astek is hiring, on behalf of a client, an experienced Application Support Officer to deliver practical L1/L2 support for core banking platforms, especially TCS BaNCS, along with connected systems that help day-to-day banking operations stay reliable. The role focuses on tracking daily processing, handling production incidents within strict service timelines, and working with technical teams to restore and maintain stable, secure service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as first- and second-line support for TCS BaNCS core banking and associated applications.
  • Oversee end-of-day and beginning-of-day processing to keep daily operations completing successfully.
  • Analyze and fix production incidents, system errors, and performance degradation.
  • Liaise with TCS and internal stakeholders on defect resolution, emergency fixes, and patch deployment.
