APAC Regional Product Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned APAC Regional Product Manager to lead the development and execution of the regional strategy for our Insurance product suite. This role involves close collaboration with the Global Product Manager and cross-functional teams to maintain and advance the APAC product roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer demands and promoting successful adoption throughout the region. The position requires substantial expertise in insurance domains and product management, deploying innovative solutions within an AI-first and SAFe Agile framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the APAC product roadmap ensuring regional objectives align with the global strategy.
• Engage with customers, stakeholders, and delivery teams to collect requirements, prioritize enhancements, and drive ongoing product refinement.
• Serve as the regional authority on product matters, presenting APAC-specific requirements during global roadmap discussions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Delivery, and Implementation teams to release scalable and configurable insurance solutions, emphasizing a product-led adoption approach.
• Assist in the design and configuration of insurance products covering benefits, underwriting, pricing, policy lifecycle events, and features.
• Provide continuous functional support throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring governance, quality, and consistent use across various deployments.
• Support key customer engagements by contributing product expertise in solution dialogues, product demonstrations, and pre-sales activities.
• Work across global and regional teams to achieve product delivery milestones across multiple time zones.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of product management experience focused on Insurance Software, Policy Administration Systems (PAS), or enterprise software with exposure to the APAC market.
• Proven abilities in managing product roadmaps, backlogs, prioritization, and Agile product delivery processes.
• In-depth knowledge of Life, Group, Protection, Annuities, and/or Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance frameworks, including product setup and policy lifecycle workflows.
• Experience with leading insurance PAS solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies, Jira, Confluence, APIs, system integrations, and delivering enterprise software.
• Strong skills in customer interaction, stakeholder engagement, effective presentations, and communication.
• Advantageous: Experience collaborating with global teams and participating in customer-facing product or pre-sales conversations.

Preferred Attributes

• Prior APAC regional product management experience.
• Experience working with UK or global product teams.
• Background in solution consulting, pre-sales, or product demonstrations.
• Robust understanding of enterprise insurance platforms and digital transformation projects.
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, AI-driven product environments.
