Job Overview

The Airport Warehouse Agent plays a crucial role in preparing all galleys according to client specifications for all scheduled flights. This role demands operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with strict time constraints to ensure timely arrivals and departures. Employees must consistently represent a professional and positive image while embodying the "Lead by Example" philosophy. Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential, with direct reporting to supervisors and managers on duty.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and dismantle commissary items per airline specifications and schedules within set deadlines.
• Participate actively in the company's Safety Management System (SMS) to promote workplace safety.
• Conduct detailed inventories to comply with airline standards.
• Adhere to Canada Border Services Agency regulations as outlined in Memoranda D7-1-1 & D4-1-4.
• Comply with Transport Canada regulations and IATA Food Safety requirements.
• Engage fully in the Sky Café Safety Management System, reporting any hazards or incidents encountered during daily tasks and promoting company safety policies.
• Ensure ongoing safety and security of the warehouse environment.
• Assist with the setup, cleaning, and proper storage of equipment and the warehouse area.
• Handle food and goods with courtesy, accuracy, and care during loading and unloading processes.
• Receive and inspect catering deliveries from food service providers, including temperature testing.
• Operate forklifts safely and conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance tasks.
• Follow all internal Sky Café and airline policies rigorously.
• Maintain constant communication with catering colleagues and airline communication centers as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work permanently in Canada.
• Clean criminal record required.
• Able to obtain necessary airport and Transport Canada security clearances.
• Physical capacity to lift, push, or pull weights up to 70 pounds regularly.
• Willing and able to work within specified time frames.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varied schedules.
• Successful completion of airline and company-required training and recertification programs.
