Overview of the Role
This position involves facilitating the export process for products moving from the UK to the Republic of Ireland, European Union, and other global destinations. The role requires managing documentation necessary for shipments that demand Export Health Certificates, the official paperwork for specific exported items.
Collaboration with both suppliers and internal teams is integral to this function to gather, follow up, and validate crucial information ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of export paperwork. The aim is to maintain smooth shipment flow and avoid border delays.
You will be regularly updating the Export Compliance Manager and the Supply Chain divisions to maintain transparency regarding timelines and any potential risks. This challenging and detail-oriented role values strong organization and communication proficiency for impactful results.
Key Duties
- Managing export certification workflows to enable prompt shipment departures from the UK to international markets.
- Collecting vital documentation from suppliers and internal teams ensuring completeness and correctness of export paperwork.
- Proactively contacting suppliers to obtain required documents, such as attestations, approval numbers, import certificates, and confirmations of processing, within deadlines.
- Monitoring progress and providing consistent updates to the Export Compliance Manager to align on priorities and timelines.
- Assisting in coordination with Official Veterinarians and appropriate regulatory agencies to ensure certifications adhere to scheduled timelines.
- Fostering collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal teams to facilitate efficient export processes.
- Adapting swiftly to evolving requirements while managing multiple priorities in a high-paced environment.
Performance Indicators
- All export documentation finalized punctually without causing shipment delays.
- Elimination of border complications arising from incomplete or incorrect certification.
- Receipt of accurate, high-quality supplier information on the first submission to minimize rework and delays.

- Prior experience in a related role is advantageous but not mandatory; strong administrative capabilities are welcomed.
- Excellent attention to detail to handle large volumes of information accurately.
- Robust organizational skills to manage and prioritize several tasks effectively.
