Accounting Manager

About the Role

Capital Ambulance UAE is looking for a meticulous and organized Accounting Manager to handle the daily financial operations with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in bookkeeping. This role is pivotal in maintaining correct financial data, managing transactions, and ensuring adherence to accounting practices to support the organization's financial wellbeing.

Primary Duties

• Maintain and regularly update financial documents including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring transactions are completed on time and with precision.
• Conduct routine bank and account reconciliations.
• Oversee cash flow monitoring and daily financial tracking.
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation and filing of all financial activities.
• Prepare comprehensive financial summaries and reports.
• Guarantee compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and internal guidelines.
• Assist in audits by supplying necessary records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance financial procedures and controls.
• Supervise junior team members, ensuring accuracy in their daily tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of substantive experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial operations.
• Preferred credentials include CPA, CMA, ACCA, or comparable accounting certifications.
• Competence in accounting software such as Odoo, QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
