About the internship
Safalta Setu is offering a remote, part-time internship for a Canva Designer to support creative communication for its mission-driven programs. The organisation is a non-profit effort focused on helping children of Armed Forces personnel connect with industry opportunities through mentorship, career guidance, and professional networking. The team is led by IIT alumni and aims to create a long-term ecosystem where talent can find meaningful opportunities.
What you’ll do
- Design and illustrate children’s books, including layouts, visuals, character-based creatives, and storytelling assets that make learning engaging for young readers.
- Produce attractive social media creatives, banners, and promotional materials in Canva.
- Create design assets that stay consistent with Safalta Setu’s brand identity and campaign goals.
- Build polished templates for recurring outreach and communication needs.
- Work with the content and outreach teams to deliver effective visual communication.
- Share creative ideas for awareness drives and student engagement initiatives.
- Refine and improve existing designs based on feedback and updated requirements.

Requirements
- Students or recent graduates from any field with an interest in design and content creation.
- Comfort using Canva and a solid grasp of basic design principles.
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to tell stories visually.
- Capacity to work independently and finish tasks on time.

Additional information
The internship offers a stipend range of ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per month. There are 10 openings. The role starts immediately and runs for 4 months. The application deadline is 5 August 2026 at 11:59 PM. Working hours are remote and typically 3–4 hours per day.
