About the Opportunity
BlueScope Distribution is hiring a Warehouse Team Member for its Eagle Farm, Queensland site. BlueScope Distribution provides steel and aluminium product solutions, along with processing and service support, to customers across multiple industries so they can complete projects to specification and on schedule.
No prior background in warehousing, operations, or manufacturing is required. The company provides structured on-the-job training and continued support to help you build a lasting career.

Pay, shifts, and work pattern
This is a permanent full-time role with a weekly pre-tax pay rate starting at $1,174.20 and rising up to $1,272.24 depending on skills and experience, excluding loading. Additional pay may include overtime, public holiday rates, and a quarterly bonus. The operation runs five days per week with day and afternoon shift options. Afternoon shifts receive a 20% loading.
- Day shift: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Afternoon shift: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm
What the role involves
You will contribute to the production of high-quality steel products, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and delivering the right product on time.
- Help maintain and encourage a safe workplace
- Run machinery used in product processing and manufacturing
- Use equipment such as forklifts and cranes
- Pack, strap, and inspect products for quality
This position includes manual handling and lifting. The work environment is a manufacturing setting, so noise and seasonal temperature changes should be expected. All necessary training, tools, and safety support will be provided.
