Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated full-time waitstaff to join our team. The role involves welcoming and seating guests, taking food and drink orders, serving signature yumcha and seafood dishes, providing menu guidance including tea pairings, handling customer questions, and managing payments professionally. Additional duties include clearing tables, assisting in opening and closing cleaning chores, and maintaining a pleasant dining atmosphere. The role demands a friendly, well-presented individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare tables with proper crockery, cutlery, and condiments; greet guests and manage reservations.
• Offer recommendations on specialty dishes, daily seafood options, yumcha items, and beverage pairings.
• Accurately take and communicate customer orders to kitchen and bar; serve food and beverages politely and efficiently.
• Serve alcoholic drinks like wine and beer and assist with cellar and glassware replenishment.
• Maintain cleanliness by clearing tables and returning dishes promptly.
• Process payments using POS systems, including cash and card transactions, and contribute to sales reporting.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism.
• Adhere to hygiene and safety standards and restock supplies as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of an AQF Certificate III in Hospitality with a minimum of 1 year relevant experience, or alternatively, at least 2 years of experience in hospitality roles.
• Excellent communication skills including active listening, clarity, and politeness.
• Ability to multitask efficiently and maintain composure during busy periods.
