About the Role
Join CELINE, a prestigious French leather-goods and couture house known for its elegance and timeless luxury collections. As a Visual Merchandising Intern based in London, you will contribute to maintaining and enhancing the brand's image through efficient implementation of visual merchandising standards and procedures. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to coordinate and assist with the execution of monthly visual merchandising guidelines, supporting multiple London stores while collaborating closely with the VM and in-store teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Visual Merchandising Coordinator with daily operational tasks.
- Implement product launches across London stores in accordance with the latest central VM guidelines.
- Conduct rotations between launches to ensure stores remain visually updated.
- Prepare one sample of each item prior to launch to optimize efficiency.
- Participate in in-store training sessions alongside the VM Coordinator.
- Manage multiple tasks by prioritizing effectively without losing sight of the overall workload.
- Communicate with department managers to align retail needs with VM requirements.
- Provide post-launch briefings to store teams explaining methods and silhouettes.
- Maintain organized VM tool areas within stores and assist with occasional inventories.
- Support zoning activities and back-office tasks as needed.
- Occasionally travel within the region to assist other stores.
- Adapt to varying schedules, including weekend work, demonstrating flexibility.
- Represent CELINE positively and embody the brand’s spirit through creativity and dedication to excellence.
Candidate Profile
Experience and Knowledge:
- Previous experience in visual merchandising with a sharp eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Familiarity with the Northern European market and regional dynamics.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proactive problem-solving abilities with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with solid business insight.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to embrace challenges.
- Service-oriented, naturally curious, open-minded, optimistic, and empathetic.
Languages: Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
