About the Role
A leading company is urgently seeking Vessel & Crane Operations Assistants for port operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The positions focus on assisting vessel and crane operations within a busy port environment, requiring relevant port experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in vessel and crane operations at the port.
- Conduct rigging, slinging, and crane signaling activities efficiently and safely.
- Perform equipment inspections and operational checks on cranes and related hardware.
- Calculate load weights and manage load distribution following safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure coordinated operations.
- Apply risk assessment techniques to maintain safety standards and prevent accidents.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of port experience as a Vessel & Crane Operations Assistant.
- Educational qualification of 10th grade, 12th grade, or equivalent certification.
- Knowledge and skills in rigging, slinging, crane signaling, equipment inspection, and load calculation.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and operational procedures for cranes.
- Manual dexterity and familiarity with rigging hardware and equipment operation.
