About the Role

Join Neste, the global frontrunner in producing sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel, and contribute to climate change mitigation. As a Turnaround Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Planner, you will be part of the Maintenance team at the Singapore Tuas Refinery, focusing on the safe, flawless, and timely execution of Turnarounds (TA) and Shutdowns.

Your core responsibility will be to efficiently plan work and job packages related to all electrical, instrumentation, and analyzer work requests during turnarounds and shutdowns. Collaboration with Maintenance sub-teams and other departments—including Reliability, Asset Management, Technical, Operations, and Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE)—will be key to ensuring planning and scheduling effectiveness. Leveraging your expertise will help Neste fulfill its promises today and contribute to a sustainable future.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire TA Planning Process by understanding and successfully delivering all seven phases and milestones.
  • Produce high-quality E&I planning outputs to optimize efficiency and enable effective execution by on-site teams.
  • Capture planning best practices and continuously improve processes by updating the Task List Library and refining ways of working to enhance future turnaround efficiency.

Requirements

  • Possess a Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Instrument Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Have a minimum of seven years of pertinent experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in turnaround planning, maintenance work control, and cost estimation for Electrical, Instrument, and/or Analyzer equipment.
  • Familiarity with turnaround planning procedures and proficiency in SAP/PM/CM maintenance systems.
  • Strong knowledge of international and local standards pertaining to instrumentation and electrical equipment.
