Treasury & Finance Executive

Role Overview

As a Treasury & Finance Executive, you will be instrumental in overseeing the company's treasury functions, managing banking partnerships, handling payment operations, and generating comprehensive financial reports. Your role ensures timely and precise execution of payments both domestic and international while maintaining adherence to compliance standards and internal controls. Additionally, you will contribute to enhancing processes through automation and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine payment documents, contracts, and agreements for payment accuracy and validity.
• Classify expenditures correctly as Expenses or Capital in accordance with accounting policies.
• Record payment transactions in the ERP system on a weekly schedule.
• Compile monthly bank reconciliations, month-end financial closing reports, and management accounts.
• Provide guidance on internal accounting procedures and instructions.
• Detect and report irregularities or issues to Finance Manager with suggested corrective measures.
• Oversee daily cash operations including cash positioning, payments, and prepare treasury compliance reports.
• Manage petty cash and bank accounts following established policies, including maintaining receipt/payment logs and bank databases.
• Draft payment instructions that align with bank requirements.
• Prepare applications for fixed deposits, bank account openings, and maintain authorized signatories.
• Handle issuance, renewal, and cancellation applications for bank guarantees.
• Process vendor payments and oversee batch payment runs across Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) based on the Finance Head’s approved schedule.
• Manage international vendor payments and prepare necessary transfer documentation adhering to laws and audit guidelines.
• Authorize wire transfers and ACH payments; maintain filing of bank statements and related documents.
• Engage with banks for queries, account setup, administration, and user profile updates.
• Champion process automation initiatives to minimize errors and manual workload in treasury operations.
• Analyze existing procedures and implement control enhancements and efficiency upgrades.
• Support treasury-related internal and external audits.
• Investigate operational issues, document workflow processes, and suggest practical solutions.
• Communicate treasury-related information clearly to internal teams and respond to queries from onshore and organizational stakeholders.
• Deliver timely, accurate reports pertaining to treasury activities.
