Position Overview
The role of Training & Development Officer involves supporting operational teams to deliver superior training and development outcomes. This position requires collaboration across various departments to tailor training initiatives to organizational and individual requirements. Researching innovative workplace learning techniques and coordinating with external training providers form key parts of the role.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Collaborate with passionate colleagues in a dynamic work environment.
- Drive growth and reinforcement of company activities through effective training programs.
- Manage and enhance training plans, documentation, and compliance monitoring.
- Support development of digital learning resources and administer training via LMS platforms.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust methods based on organisational needs and stakeholder input.
- Engage with multiple stakeholders and lead project teams to foster a cooperative culture.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in designing and assessing training programs and workplace assessments.
- Deliver adult education using diverse teaching methods suited to complex organizational goals.
- Proficiency with Articulate Storyline 360, Litmos LMS, and video content creation/editing tools.
- Ability to create engaging digital learning experiences and adapt to evolving training technologies.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and project leadership skills.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in registered training organisations, including aspects of student administration and e-learning system management.
- Academic credentials or equivalent experience in learning & development, education, or organisational development.
- Certificate IV in Training and Workplace Assessment (TAE40122) or related certification with instructional design expertise.
- Valid driver's license to facilitate travel across operational sites.
- Familiarity with additional tools such as Rise 360, Peek 360, Studio 360, and Microsoft Clipchamp.
