Position Overview

This role focuses on creating comprehensive concepts for new training centers, including site and capacity analysis as well as layout planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop holistic designs for new training centers with detailed location and capacity evaluations and spatial layouts.
  • Assess customer needs, prepare technical specifications, and coordinate contributions from specialized departments.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners such as architects, construction firms, and suppliers.
  • Manage tendering processes, prepare offers, and conduct contract negotiations.
  • Lead project management tasks following TKMS's project management system, overseeing scheduling, budget control, and quality targets.
  • Supervise construction execution, on-site quality and safety inspections, and integration of learning, simulation, AV systems, network infrastructure, and e-learning platforms.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage project risks; perform acceptance testing, organize training, prepare operational and maintenance manuals, and analyze usage data to recommend optimizations.

Candidate Profile

  • Completed degree in civil engineering, architecture, facility management, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Project management knowledge adhering to GPM or PRINCE2 standards.
  • Proven multi-year experience in planning and executing complex infrastructure projects, especially in education or training environments; naval officer training or equivalent is a plus.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications.
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
