Trainer

Position Overview

This is a national remote opportunity, offering the flexibility to work from any location within the U.S. However, for hires in Minneapolis, Virginia, Maryland, or the Washington, D.C. area, a minimum on-site presence of four days per week in the office is required. The Trainer will support the United Health One Sales Enablement team by designing and developing innovative training programs that enhance sales effectiveness and align with organizational goals. The role involves consulting with subject matter experts and peers to create impactful learning experiences with a focus on compliance and performance improvement.

Work Schedule and Training

This full-time role operates Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to cover shifts during 8:00 am to 5:00 pm local time. Occasional overtime might be needed. Candidates will undergo several weeks of on-the-job training; training hours will be communicated at the start of employment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze learning needs through collaboration with managers, SMEs, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct surveys, interviews, and focus groups to identify skill gaps and business goals.
• Perform task and competency analysis to recommend training or alternative interventions.
• Design instructional materials aligned with ADDIE or similar models, including eLearning modules, virtual instructor-led training, and hybrid formats using tools like Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Develop related assessments, job aids, and multimedia content ensuring accessibility standards compliance (ADA Section 508, WCAG).
• Integrate courses into Learning Management Systems (LMS) with SCORM packaging and tracking.
• Create engaging virtual learning sessions with interactive elements such as breakout rooms and polls using platforms like Zoom or Teams.
• Facilitate blended learning and virtual onboarding programs.
• Conduct quality assurance, testing, and evaluation of training content, applying data analytics for effectiveness measurement.
• Collaborate across teams to align learning solutions with operational strategies and support ongoing program updates.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• At least 2 years of experience in instructional design.
• Proficient with LMS platforms and SCORM integration.
• Strong background in virtual training development and delivery.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Expertise in eLearning software such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Replay, and Peek.
• Ability to work full-time with schedule flexibility during standard business hours and occasional overtime.

• Experience in healthcare or pharmacy operations.
• Background with compliance and regulatory training.
• Skills in graphic design or multimedia development.
• Competence in managing multiple projects efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation ranges from $29 to $52 per hour based on employment status and factors such as experience, education, and certifications. Additional benefits include comprehensive health coverage, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase options, and 401(k) contributions, all subject to eligibility.
