About Class One Traffic Management
With over three decades of experience, Class One Traffic Management leads Scotland's traffic safety services. We specialize in providing professional traffic management to sectors such as highways, local authorities, utilities, rail, and events, placing a strong emphasis on safety, productivity, and client satisfaction.
Role Overview
As a Traffic Management Operative, you will be instrumental in ensuring safe traffic flow around construction sites and roadworks. Your duties include setting up and maintaining traffic management systems, directing traffic safely during various activities, and collaborating with colleagues and clients to ensure operational efficiency. You will actively participate in fostering a people-centric culture and contribute to ongoing positive organizational changes.
Employment Details
The position is based in Lockerbie DG11 3LP, Scotland, requiring on-site work. The role offers three flexible shift schedules designed to balance work and personal life: 12 days on followed by 2 days off including weekends; 6 days on and 1 day off; or part-time shifts covering four days (Saturday-Tuesday or Thursday-Sunday). Additionally, high-speed operative positions involving night shifts are available, requiring a Lantra 12AB certification.
Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Possession of a full UK Driving Licence held for at least 10 months with no more than 6 penalty points
- Residing within a 40-minute drive from the company depot
- Flexibility to work the specified shift patterns
- Possession of traffic management qualifications such as Lantra 12AB, 12D M1/M2, or Unit 2 is advantageous but not mandatory
Compensation and Benefits
