Key responsibilities

• Direct quality assurance efforts across programs so that testing teams produce complete, accurate, and client-ready deliverables.
• Establish testing standards, approaches, and best practices while coaching testers and supporting their growth.
• Own test planning, execution tracking, and reporting to support on-time delivery against project goals.
• Review testing progress, defect trends, and quality measurements to make go/no-go recommendations and support project decisions.
• Coordinate test schedules, work assignments, and responsibilities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Act as the main point of contact for communication between testing groups, internal teams, and external partners.
• Administer test tools, support test development work, and help maintain configuration management processes.
• Spot opportunities to improve processes, propose corrective actions, and help implement changes through collaboration and agreement.
• Use proactive leadership to resolve difficult issues, improve efficiency, and preserve strong client relationships.
• Encourage teamwork, accountability, and ongoing improvement across delivery groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent mix of education and professional experience.
• Solid experience in quality assurance, software testing, test management, and delivery oversight.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, with careful attention to detail.
• Comfort working through changing priorities, ambiguity, and competing demands while still completing initiatives.
• Proven leadership skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Preferred experience with automation tools such as JAWS, Selenium, or RestAssured.
• Helpful background in SQL queries and Oracle database environments.
• Preferred familiarity with JIRA, the JIRA X-Ray plugin, and Confluence.
• Advantageous experience with federal government technology programs, Salesforce, AWS solutions, or Department of Veterans Affairs environments.
• Existing Public Trust clearance with a federal agency is preferred.
• Knowledge of mortgage industry processes is a plus.
