Overview
The role requires candidates who have completed at least 10th or 12th grade education and possess a diploma in Computer Hardware and Networking from a recognized technical institute. Practical experience of six months in on-field hardware troubleshooting with desktops or laptops is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops and laptops at a basic Level 1 support capacity.
- Install and activate software applications including MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Suite.
- Set up and troubleshoot wireless printers and routers.
- Demonstrate laptop functionalities effectively to customers with assured knowledge.
- Promote and explain Zip services to every customer who buys laptops and attempt to upsell the relevant service.
Working Hours and Leave
The store operates from 12:30 PM until closing hours around 8:30 to 9:00 PM. Work is scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays, with the option to take a leave day from Monday to Friday. All festivals require attendance as per store policy, though compensatory leave will be granted later.
Language and Location Preference
Applicants should be proficient in Hindi, local regional languages, and possess basic English communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates residing near the store location to minimize commute time.
