Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Project Manager specializing in Cybersecurity to oversee and execute enterprise-wide cybersecurity projects spanning various business, IT, and OT technology domains. This role demands end-to-end project delivery oversight, ensuring cybersecurity initiatives align precisely with project mandates, timelines, and budgets while maintaining compliance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive cybersecurity project delivery from initiation to final testing and commissioning.
  • Oversee multiple cybersecurity solution deployments to ensure they meet specified project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress including milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues; provide consistent progress updates to program management.
  • Guarantee project adherence to timelines, scopes, budgets, and quality criteria.
  • Champion the rollout of cybersecurity technologies including SIEM, PAM, Endpoint Security (XDR), Web and Email Security Gateways, OT/IoT Intrusion Detection Systems, NAC solutions, NDR platforms, centralized monitoring, patch management, deception technologies, vulnerability management, SOAR platforms, sandboxing, configuration management, ticketing and asset systems, integrated dashboards, and conduct biannual security assessments.
  • Collaborate closely with security architects and engineers to translate technical requirements into executable plans.
  • Serve as the primary interface among internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Convey complex cybersecurity concepts in accessible business language for senior leadership.
  • Identify and manage cybersecurity risks, ensuring solutions comply with regulations and promote governance; support audit and remediation efforts.
  • Handle vendor relations, monitor performance against contracts, and coordinate resources to optimize project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related disciplines; Master’s degree is advantageous.
  • Professional certifications: PMP and CISSP are mandatory.
  • At least 10 years of cybersecurity experience with 5+ years specifically in cybersecurity project management.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, timelines, and multi-disciplinary teams on large cybersecurity initiatives.

Technical Expertise

  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks including NCSA, QCF 2022, and IEC 62443.
  • Expertise in network security architecture and cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud.
  • Strong background in security operations, incident response, IAM solutions, vulnerability management, threat detection, and regulatory compliance.

Project Management Skills

  • Deep understanding and application of project methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches.
