Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Lead Platform to provide technical direction across our core technology stack. This includes collaborative scoring and streaming systems, multi-tenancy management, identity services, and Vision AI integration. The role demands ensuring our platform is resilient, scalable, secure, and supports innovation and global operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and continual improvement of NV Play’s scoring, mobile, video, and streaming platforms, ensuring performance and reliability for a worldwide user base.
• Integrate AI technologies, with emphasis on Vision AI, into the platform to boost product capabilities and operational workflows.
• Manage cloud hosting and DevOps frameworks to guarantee platform stability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Engage in software development hands-on, providing leadership, mentoring, and fostering a high-performance engineering culture.
• Collaborate closely with the Technical Lead Product to align platform features with product strategies and commercial goals.
• Optimize development processes, advocate best practices, and encourage agile methodologies including sprint planning and continuous improvement.
• Ensure robust security, data protection, and compliance strategies underpin platform operations.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks proactively to maintain system continuity and performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• A strong enthusiasm for cricket or at least a solid understanding of the sport.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role in high-growth SaaS and product-led development environments.
• Expertise in designing cloud-based solutions using Microsoft technologies such as .NET, SQL Server, and Azure.
• Experience with distributed systems and proficiency in applying industry-standard architectural patterns appropriately.
• Proven leadership in advancing DevOps culture, automated testing, continuous integration and delivery, and streamlined deployment processes.
• Hands-on capabilities across the entire application stack, demonstrating adaptability and technical diversity.
• Experience leading adoption of AI tools for coding and discovery within teams.
• Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Strong organizational skills paired with a determined and efficient work ethic.
• A holistic approach to solving problems in the context of wider platform offerings.
• Attention to detail and commitment to exceeding customer expectations consistently.
• Curiosity and eagerness to stay current with rapidly evolving commercial and technological landscapes.
