About the Role
We are looking to hire a skilled Technical Business Analyst on a 6-month contract based in Central Dublin with a hybrid working model. This position operates within our financial services technology division acting as a critical liaison among business stakeholders, operational teams, and technology implementation units. The role entails leading requirements gathering, designing target processes, and overseeing system deployment for complex fund administration and client onboarding projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and maintain comprehensive business and functional requirements through tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Conduct gap analyses and organize workshops with stakeholders to align on project goals.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in fund accounting domain areas including NAV calculations, trade capture, reconciliation tasks, and management reporting. Assist with software upgrades or implementations involving platforms like SimCorp Dimension, Geneva, InvestOne, Advent, or Charles River.
- Drive the transformation of client onboarding processes from KYC and AML checks through account setup, ensuring seamless integration between onboarding CRMs like Salesforce or Fenergo and backend systems.
- Utilize technical skills to write and run SQL queries for data validation during user acceptance tests, define data mapping for ETL processes, and contribute to API documentation for both REST and SOAP services.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience as a Technical Business Analyst in the Financial Services sector.
- Strong expertise in fund accounting procedures, including knowledge of accounting principles, data flows, and portfolio/order management system integrations.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and solid understanding of data migration and API design.
- Familiarity with industry software platforms such as SimCorp, Geneva, Fenergo, and Salesforce.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities to manage stakeholder relationships across front, middle, and back-office functions.
Compensation
The contract offers a daily remuneration between £450 and £480.
