Technical Architect - Azure Databricks & PySpark

About the Role

This position is for a seasoned Technical Architect specializing in Azure Databricks and PySpark, located in Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, or Bangalore. The role demands more than 15 years of experience in Data and Analytics architecture, with deep knowledge of Azure data technologies and cloud modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and establish architecture principles, standards, frameworks, and strategic plans for cloud migration initiatives.
• Review and authorize solution architectures across multiple programs to ensure alignment with enterprise goals.
• Lead governance of the data platform focusing on security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Create and promote reusable migration patterns, accelerators, and industry best practices.
• Offer expert advice on resolving intricate technical problems and making informed design choices.
• Collaborate closely with client architects, senior stakeholders, and project delivery leaders to ensure successful outcomes.
• Support cutting-edge innovation efforts, including automation and AI-driven migration strategies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Over 15 years of experience in Data & Analytics architectural roles.
• Expert knowledge of Azure Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and overall Azure Data Platform services.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Strong skills in data modeling and architecting enterprise-scale data solutions.
• Experience in architecture governance and managing stakeholder relationships effectively.
