Team Leader - Summer Pools

Role Overview

This position offers a valuable opportunity for growth by leading a Summer Pool facility in Lower Hutt during the 2026/27 season. From approximately October 26, 2026, to March 26, 2027, you will manage operations at summer pools including Wainuiomata Pool, McKenzie Baths, or Eastbourne Pool, while also supporting community aquatic events.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide organised supervision of pool operations during the summer season.
• Lead a team, fostering a shared vision aligned with community values and facility goals.
• Collaborate effectively with Council staff, management, community organisations, and external partners.

Required Qualifications

• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
