Role overview
This role is for a Team Leader to support Noon Minutes operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position involves overseeing dark store activity, supporting fulfillment and logistics, and helping drive efficiency, cost control, and team performance on the ground.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the operations of 1 to 2 assigned dark stores across fulfillment and logistics.
- Keep consumable and packaging usage efficient across warehouses while reducing waste.
- Make sure each warehouse maintains essential safety stock so order processing is not interrupted.
- Ensure teams correctly use packaging tools and follow processes at floor level.
- Track purchases of consumables from sellers and confirm they are properly recorded in the WMS and consumable management tools.
- Monitor and improve key cost indicators to support company performance and cost objectives.
- Use ERP functions and reports to improve output and operational efficiency.
- Train, support, and assess both new and existing warehouse staff on ERP use and best practices.
- Plan daily work and allocate tasks to the team.
- Deal with performance concerns and work to raise productivity on the floor.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with other team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in e-commerce or a related area.
- Strong ability to write, speak, and present ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
- Strong creative and analytical problem-solving ability, with a willingness to keep learning and improving.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-pressure, and multitasking environment.
