About the Role
The TAFE Services Coordinator position is responsible for partnering with various internal corporate teams to deliver services to both staff and students at the Kingswood campus. This role also serves as a primary liaison for the broader community, engaging with external organizations to foster strong relationships. Operationally, the Coordinator manages multiple on-site activities to maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-ordered campus environment. Key duties include coordinating local service delivery, assisting with incident and issue resolutions, and providing prompt support, thereby creating a positive learning atmosphere and strengthening community ties. Additionally, the role requires occasional support at the Penrith campus and mandates attendance on-site five days a week, including potential travel to other campuses as needed.

Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent customer service abilities, a proactive approach, and motivation to efficiently coordinate campus services that enhance safety and vibrancy. The role calls for strong interpersonal skills to establish and nurture relationships with colleagues and community stakeholders. Effective negotiation and communication skills coupled with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools are essential. The role suits self-driven individuals able to work independently, manage priorities, and solve problems effectively.
Essential Requirements
- Possession of a valid Working with Children Check prior to beginning employment.
- A degree in a relevant field or equivalent skills and experience.
- Proven success in building rapport across diverse groups and monitoring service delivery to meet customer needs.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, aligning with TAFE's operational hours.
- Holding a current driver's license is highly preferred.
Terms and Additional Information
This is a permanent full-time role based at the Kingswood campus with a salary package ranging from $131,911 to $142,056, inclusive of base salary ($116,219 - $125,157), superannuation contributions, and annual leave loading. Applications are accepted until 25 August 2026 at 11:55 pm AEST.
Minimum education
Bachelor's Degree
