About the Role
Join Old Mutual South Africa to contribute to Africa's promising future by designing and developing solutions addressing complex application, system administration, and network challenges. This role encompasses functions such as System Engineering, Operating Systems Engineering, VM Specialization, and Hardware and Network Support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain medium-complexity storage, data center, network, and client/server environments according to industry best practices; serve as a third-line escalation point for global infrastructure solutions.
- Provide digital solution architecture services, including creating conceptual and logical architectural diagrams to align technical strategies and document future-state architectures.
- Maintain established enterprise architecture documentation and artifacts.
- Assist in gathering business requirements through interviews, document and workflow analysis to clearly articulate needs.
