About the Role
Care on Call is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalised care to individuals in the community, ensuring the highest standard of service for both clients and staff. As part of this team, you will assist clients with daily routines, social activities, and employment commitments.
Key Duties
- Assisting with personal care such as showering, toileting, and dressing
- Helping clients with passive exercises and stretching routines
- Performing household tasks including cleaning and meal preparation
- Transporting clients to appointments, work, and social events using their vehicle
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a current, clean full driver’s license
- Legal authorization to work in New Zealand
- Hold relevant health qualifications at Level 2, 3, or 4 (mandatory)
- Previous experience in caregiving or support roles with similar clientele
- Energetic, proactive attitude combined with a good sense of humour
- Excellent communication abilities
- Reliable, punctual, honest, and genuinely caring nature
