The position involves managing a team, collaborating with senior manufacturing site leadership, standardizing processes, and promoting organizational adoption of a new Target Operating Model (TOM).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of Supply Planning Transformation Specialists, offering daily leadership and support.
  • Drive the adoption of standardized supply planning processes, ensuring sites are prepared and engaged for long-term success.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Site Leadership to overcome challenges and meet key milestones.
  • Monitor deployment schedules, manage risks, track milestones, and provide executive-level status updates.
  • Lead structured change management efforts to embed new planning procedures and working methods.
  • Collaborate with global program leadership to enhance deployment strategies, process playbooks, and standards.
  • Share and apply best practices across all manufacturing sites to ensure consistent execution.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders in complex matrixed environments without direct authority.
  • Support continuous process improvements following deployment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or related fields.
  • At least 8 years of supply chain planning experience in large pharmaceutical companies or comparable medical device firms.
  • Proven experience managing multi-site manufacturing within global networks.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing staff.
  • Extensive expertise in leading end-to-end supply chain transformations, TOM deployments, or enterprise planning implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain disciplines such as Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Capacity and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise planning systems like Blue Yonder (preferred), SAP IBP, SAP APO, JDA, Kinaxis, OMP, or similar Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) software.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities, especially with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 15-35% during deployment phases.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience deploying APS solutions across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Formal change management certifications such as Prosci, ADKAR, or APMG.
  • Track record in creating deployment playbooks, governance frameworks, and standardizing planning processes.
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Business.
