Role Responsibilities

  • Engage actively in initiatives to improve supply chain performance, conduct value analysis, and identify cost-saving measures
  • Coordinate supply returns by initiating requests and preparing items for pickup
  • Manage product recalls by removing affected products from circulation and arranging their return packaging
  • Keep team members informed about new supplies, product modifications, substitutions, backorders, and changes in storage
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues, source new products and equipment, and organize necessary training sessions
  • Facilitate product testing and evaluations with relevant stakeholders
  • Oversee supplies and materials within assigned specialty departments or procedure areas
  • Set and maintain appropriate Periodic Automatic Replenishment (PAR) levels, ensuring proper rotation, labeling, and expiration management
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with clinical and non-clinical teams to understand changing needs and product updates
  • Participate or assist with committee activities as assigned
  • Perform additional duties as required

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Basic familiarity with products and equipment used in the healthcare or specialty area
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to function independently with minimal supervision
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Understanding of clinical procedural workflows
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities efficiently without compromising quality

Preferred Qualifications

Education
