Role Overview

The Supply Chain Data and Planning Analyst is responsible for supporting the supply chain functions by providing accurate, timely, and reliable operational data essential for planning, reporting, and informed decision-making. This role collaborates extensively with warehouse teams, sourcing, operations, finance, commercial, and product departments to gather, consolidate, validate, analyze, and maintain key data across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Aggregate supply chain data from diverse sources including warehouses, sourcing units, production sites, and commercial teams into uniform databases.
  • Ensure the accuracy and upkeep of inventory, sourcing, and planning data.
  • Develop weekly and monthly reports and dashboards utilizing advanced Excel capabilities and Power BI.
  • Track and communicate performance indicators related to inventory, sourcing, logistics, and operational effectiveness.
  • Assist in demand forecasting, inventory management, and sourcing plan development through detailed data analysis and stock forecasting.
  • Spot potential risks, shortages, and areas for process improvement.
  • Oversee physical stock monitoring and reconciliation against system records; investigate discrepancies and aid in month-end stock closure.
  • Facilitate coordination among supply chain, operations, finance, commercial, and product teams to ensure prompt data submission and reporting.
  • Contribute to project tracking and support information management efforts as necessary.
  • Support the creation of automated reports and dashboards to streamline team workflows.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in fields such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Experience ranging from 2 to 3 years in supply chain, planning, or operations roles.
  • At least 1 year of practical experience in data analysis.
  • Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, Power Query, formulas, and scenario analyses.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Power BI for dashboard creation and reporting.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and ERP platforms.
  • Understanding of supply chain processes, inventory control practices, and planning methodologies.
  • Knowledge of best practices for data visualization and reporting.
  • High attention to detail ensuring data accuracy.
  • Capacity to juggle multiple priorities effectively and work autonomously.
