Role Overview
As a Supply Chain Analyst at TRP Infrastructure, you will enhance supply chain effectiveness by providing in-depth analysis that aids operational efficiency, planning accuracy, and dependable service delivery. This role involves using various analytical tools including NetSuite ERP, Excel, and Power BI to improve inventory management, vendor relations, cost control, and service quality. Effective communication of insights and influencing decision-making across multiple business units including vendors, leadership, and executives are key components.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate supply chain metrics such as inventory turnover, fill rates, delivery punctuality, lead times, and transport expenses utilizing NetSuite and complementary tools.
- Create and update demand forecasts by applying statistical methods and analyzing historical data from NetSuite and AI-based resources.
- Oversee inventory across warehouses and distribution centers through NetSuite, advising on adjustments to optimize stock levels.
- Detect supply chain constraints and inefficiencies, presenting data-supported recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor supplier rebates, incentive programs, and promotion agreements throughout the year to ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and maximal benefit capture.
- Collaborate with vendors, branch managers, Regional VPs, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and sales teams to synchronize supply and demand, driving measurable advancements.
- Develop dashboards and deliver actionable insights utilizing NetSuite, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, AI platforms, or similar business intelligence tools.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses on new suppliers, transit routes, or process enhancements.
- Support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) activities within NetSuite.
- Assess supplier performance and risk factors based on NetSuite data.
- Engage in continuous process improvement initiatives within the supply chain department.
- Keep abreast of evolving industry trends, technologies, and best practices in supply chain management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, procurement, or operations roles.
- Expertise using NetSuite ERP extensively for reporting, data extraction, inventory management, and analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, and complex formulas; VBA or macro skills are advantageous.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and proficiency in SQL.
- Understanding of forecasting methodologies, inventory optimization techniques, and statistical analysis.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong command of Microsoft PowerPoint to effectively translate data insights into impactful executive presentations.
- Experience collaborating with senior leaders in supply chain and sales and operations teams.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Knowledge of process improvement practices including Lean and Six Sigma is beneficial.
- Experience supporting S&OP processes is a positive plus.
- Exposure to AI tools is desirable.
- Awareness of international trade regulations, tariffs, and global supply chain risks is an advantage.
