Role Overview

As a Supplier Onboarding Manager at TPI Global Solutions, you will lead the global operations of supplier onboarding, ensuring timely and compliant integration of suppliers across multiple regions. The role involves managing a dedicated team, overseeing supplier data governance, payment enablement, and continuous process enhancement to deliver superior supplier and stakeholder experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the global supplier onboarding program, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely supplier integration.
• Manage a global team responsible for onboarding, supplier record maintenance, payment processes, and lifecycle activities.
• Uphold operational standards and service level agreements to ensure consistent, high-quality experiences for suppliers and stakeholders.
• Serve as the main escalation contact for complex onboarding issues requiring cross-department collaboration.
• Monitor workload and performance metrics to facilitate continual improvement.
• Manage supplier due diligence activities such as tax documentation, sanctions screening, verification, and compliance assessments.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Tax, Treasury, Security, and Third-Party Risk Management teams to align onboarding activities with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready supplier documentation and address operational risks and process gaps with corrective actions.
• Support audits by upholding rigorous operational controls and documentation standards.
• Oversee supplier master data governance ensuring data integrity and proper payment setup including bank verification and tax validation.
• Partner with Accounts Payable and Treasury to enhance supplier payment readiness while minimizing fraud and operational risks.
• Lead initiatives to shorten onboarding cycles and improve quality at first submission.
• Evaluate and enhance onboarding workflows through increased automation, efficiency, and user experience improvements.
• Work closely with Procurement Technology and IT to deploy system advancements supporting onboarding operations.
• Create and maintain operational dashboards and reports tracking onboarding volume, cycle times, quality, SLA adherence, and compliance.
• Drive root cause analyses to resolve operational challenges and implement sustainable improvements.
• Support procurement transformation efforts to standardize and scale onboarding processes globally.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing onboarding team promoting accountability and excellence.
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures, training materials, and other operational documentation.
• Define and monitor performance metrics aligned with Procurement Operations goals.
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships across Procurement, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and other business units to enhance communication and supplier experience.

Candidate Profile

• At least 5 years of experience in supplier onboarding, procurement operations, accounts payable, shared services, or supplier management within complex global enterprises.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience managing operational teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of supplier onboarding procedures, supplier master data management, tax documentation, payment setup, and procure-to-pay processes.
• Demonstrated partnership experience with Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams.
• Proven ability to manage operational performance using KPIs, SLAs, quality metrics, and drive continuous improvements.
• Strong understanding of operational controls, audits, and data governance.
• Experience leading process improvements and technology-driven transformation initiatives.
• Proficiency with procurement orchestration tools, ERP systems, supplier onboarding platforms, and workflow automation technologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Capability to lead through uncertainty, influence without direct authority, and build scalable operations.
