Role overview
An engineering consultancy in Macroom, County Cork is seeking a Structural Engineer to support a varied workload across multiple building sectors. The role is permanent and full time, with involvement from early-stage concept work through to construction delivery.
Project sectors
- Commercial work such as retail parks, office buildings, and mixed-use developments
- Residential schemes including housing developments and apartment blocks
- Education projects such as schools, extensions, and university facilities
- Healthcare assignments including primary care centres and hospital refurbishment work
- Industrial projects covering warehousing and food-industry facilities
Experience and technical background
Applicants should have a Level 8 degree, or an equivalent qualification, in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering. The position also calls for at least two years of experience designing buildings structurally, along with confidence using analysis and design tools such as Tekla, STAAD, Tedds, Revit, Master Series, or comparable software.
Other requirements
A full driving licence is required for this role.
