The position is hands-on and primarily involves extensive data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform allocation decisions with clear consideration of their impact on subsequent teams and processes. It offers a unique opportunity to deepen expertise in sourcing and make a tangible business impact daily.

  • Create reports and visual data representations using Excel, Tableau, and Power BI to derive insights and support decision-making.
  • Evaluate the interdependencies and downstream consequences to develop well-informed, coordinated, and executable allocation recommendations.
  • Collaborate with sourcing development, supply planning, materials sourcing, costing, and product development teams to collect inputs, align objectives, and assist allocation decisions.
  • Identify gaps in information proactively, validate underlying assumptions, and ensure closure of open queries to facilitate prompt and reliable decision-making.
  • Support the Allocation Senior Manager by executing allocation strategies and transforming plans into operational actions.

Indicators of Success

  • Allocation plans are implemented accurately and within scheduled timelines.
  • Allocation procedures operate without disruption, with early identification and management of risks and issues.
  • Reporting and data insights remain clear, timely, and practical for stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional partners recognize the analyst as a dependable, responsive, and proactive collaborator.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience or strong analytical skills in operations, procurement, supply chain, business analysis, or related fields; recent graduates with strong analysis skills are welcome.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel including formula use, pivot tables, and data cleansing.
  • Familiarity with at least one data visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical thinking with high attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Capability to juggle multiple stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines efficiently.
  • Proficient in systems thinking and business judgment, able to assess dependencies and convert insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Proactive approach in identifying information gaps, validating assumptions, and following through for informed decision-making.
  • Keen intellectual curiosity with fast learning aptitude in new business processes and data sets.
