Stores Supervisor/Engineer

Role Overview

The candidate will be responsible for independently overseeing the storage facility for piping, structural, electrical and instrumentation materials across all projects. This includes managing the receipt, preservation, issuance, and inventory accounting of materials.

Responsibilities

• Manage the storage location operations for piping, structural, and E&I materials.
• Guarantee compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and safety standards in the storage area.
• Lead and supervise a team comprising GFTCs and workers.
• Efficiently manage and optimize material handling resources.
• Administer manpower and ensure optimal resource utilization within the storage facility.
• Prepare and manage budget estimations related to storage operations.
• Plan storage area layouts ahead of time and implement best practices.
• Drive continuous improvements through digitization initiatives such as SAP MM and E Alps development.
• Participate in various audits including corporate, financial, safety, inventory verification, API, and other stamping audits.
• Maintain accurate inward and outward ledgers.
• Exercise control over inventory and manage non-moving stock.
• Handle scrap disposal and its accounting.

Additional Information

The role requires a strong emphasis on documentation, safety compliance, and continuous process enhancements through technology integration. Experience in audits and budget management is integral to this position.
